Ride a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine. The tour, now in its 17th year, will make stops in more than 45 US cities and is expected to welcome more than one million passengers.

Thomas the Tank Engine will be at Greenfield Village May 5 & 6 and May 12 & 13.

Thomas the Tank Engine will depart every 30 minutes, rain or shine, with departure times at 9:30 am through 5:00 pm.

There will also be games and activities featuring a mystery element; an opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt™, Controller of the Railway; a Thomas & Friends Imagination Station featuring stamps temporary tattoos, hands-on arts & crafts, train tables, and coloring sheets; commemorative activities, merchandise and giveaways including a special reveal poster previewing new engines and a new destination from the upcoming 2012 Thomas & Friends feature, “Blue Mountain Mystery”.

Video viewing and storytelling will alternate throughout the day from 9:30 am to 4:15 pm. Magic shows at 12:00, 1:45 and 3:15. Hobo band performances at 10:00, 11:15, 12:45 and 2:30.
