A Camp Fair is like a camp expo. It is an informal interactive event where Livingston County parents and personnel from local camps get to know each other. Parents have a chance to learn about different camp options and make informed decisions about their child’s summer activities before the last minute.

Representatives from about 2 dozen day camps and resident camps in the area will set up tables with literature and displays telling about their summer programs. We expect to have camps for children of all ages, and camps to suit every family’s budget.

Parents pay nothing to come in, move from table to table at their own pace, visit with the camp representatives, ask questions and collect information in a comfortable, no pressure, convenient environment.

Afterwards, families that want to can go get ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery or go for Mexican food at Salsaritas.

The Camp Fair will be at Green Oak Village Place, 9795 Village Place Boulevard, in between Claire’s and Sport Clips from 10am-4pm on February 4.

We expect to be posting a list of participating camps within the next few days.
