Students from Brilliant Beginnings Child Development Center in Howell attended the Veteran’s Day celebration in Howell and delivered cards to veterans. The kids worked all week learning the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance, what it meant to be a Veteran and what the military does for our country.

The children were happy to pose for a picture with the Veterans, while the Veterans seemed more than happy to show off their homemade certificates.

Colin Valdez (3yrs old) says, "Thanks for saving us." while handing a veteran the certificate of appreciation that he personally made.

Director Kathy Thompson remarked, “All of the children were in such awe seeing so many veterans in one place. I don’t think they’ve ever been so quiet. They are already talking about ‘the next time we go’.”
